2007 Oaked Dry Cider (limited)
Dry Cider is crafted from French and English bittersweet apples renowned for their rich tannins and spicy aromas. This cider is fermented and aged in stainless steel for 8 months. Before bottling Dry Cider was oak aged for 4 days. This created a full-bodied dry cider with nice balance and complexity. This sophisticated cider pairs well with aromatic and rich foods: mussels, cured meat, and especially stinky cheeses.

2007 Semi-Dry Cider (limited)
Our semi-dry cider is styled after the fine ciders of Somerset, England. Just shy of dry, this cider has just the perfect amount of residual sugar to bring forward the delicate fruit and light ginger spice. This cider has a nice delicate weight that finishes with ripe apple skin flavors. Notes of dried fruit, ripe pear, citrus and green apple make this a beautiful pair to fish, poultry, pork, barbeque, or by itself on the porch. Serve chilled.
Limited, only a few cases left.

Anthem
Not all ciders are created equal. Anthem is cider crafted from only a blend of fresh pressed apples and finished with only the juice of apples, pears, and cherries: all from farms in Oregon and Washington. A slow cold fermentation allows the character of each apple variety to express itself fully. The result: an off-dry cider with a unique complexity and depth, and a refreshing nature.
Available only on draft.
Anthem Cider - A specialty blend of apple varieties from Oregon and Washington. The first 3 batches made
from Newtown Pippin and Winesap from Heirloom Orchards in Hood River, Oregon. Apples we ferment will
fluctuate seasonally and lend variations in Anthem’s flavor profile from batch to batch. The apple varieties
used and their contribution to the flavor profile will be listed on our website and on each keg by the batch.
6.2% ABV
Anthem Cherry - Anthem Cider finished with Oregon cherries. 1st batch, a blend of Queen Anne, Bing, Tart
and Sweetheart cherries from Cherry Country in Salem, Oregon. 2nd batch, straight Tart cherries from
Newberg, Oregon. Tart dry finish with rich cherry overtones. 6.2% ABV
Anthem Pear - Anthem Cider finished with a blend of Barlett and D’ Anjou pears from Hood River, Oregon
for the first 7 batches. Ripe pear aromas with a smooth unripe green pear skin finish. 6.0% ABV
Tap handles - Oregon sustainable or recovered wood available in Cherry, Curly or Quilted Maple, Oregon Oak, and Madrone

2009 Wickson - release date of late July 2010
Single variety Wickson Crab apples from 2009 harvest.
9% ABV and lucid acidity.
Off-dry with a hint of carbonation.
Harvest, 17% Culver, Oregon, 83% Hood River, Oregon.
Named after E.J. Wickson, famed author of "California Fruits" by his friend and breeder of the Wickson Crab, Albert Etter. Albert Etter's 1947 patent for Wickson Crab reads "It is a cross of Newton crab and Spitzenberg crab." While this may be confusing to most since these parent varieties are unrecorded, there will be no dispute that Wickson Crab makes grand cider.

Pommeau - new release coming November 2010
Pommeau is a unique apple dessert wine. Select heirloom cider apple varieties were fermented and then distilled. The resulting apple brandy, after aged 5 years in oak, was expertly blended with fresh juice from cider apples that offer diverse character - those with a wealth of tannins and those with plentiful sugars. Pommeau is a delicately sweet, surprisingly smooth, aromatic wine with an incredible brandy essence. Serve chilled or warm and enjoy as an aperitif, a dessert or with a meal. Production of only 100 cases every other year.

Heirloom Blend Cider (Retired, now called Bloom)
Our heirloom blend is both refreshing and complex. This cider has a nice medium weight with a warm, smooth texture. A ripe fruit opening balanced by bright acidity make this a delightful drink alone beverage, but is also a lovely pair for pork, cheese, poultry or vegetables. Beautiful ripe apple aromatics with warm brown sugar, light floral, and citrus notes. Smooth, warm finish with good length. We use only organically grown cider apples from our orchard in Salem and a few select Oregon orchards. Serve chilled.

Invest in us with a Private Note
Wandering Aengus Ciderworks is growing and we need help to sustain this growth. Unfortunately, the banks are not willing to help. So we have decided to offer private notes. The money from these notes will be used to purchase new bottling/packaging equipment, upgrade our facility to 3 phase power, expand the footprint of our facility, and provide working capital for operations.
This is a great chance for you to help a new company grow, create jobs, and help people understand and appreciate real ciders. If you have any questions about this program please e-mail us at info@wanderingaengus.com or call at 503-361-2400
Here is how it works: you purchase a note for a minimum of $1,000 or to up to a maximum of $100,000. Over the term of the note we pay you out the interest on a monthly basis. At the end of the term you receive your final monthly interest payment and the original purchase price of the note.
Interest rates and terms:
